How much notice do you need to book a local move?

A.

We do not have a set time to book. The way we work, as long as you are happy with the quote and the service described, we just take a deposit of $30 which is fully refundable. This $30 gives you priority booking, meaning that whatever date or time you do decide to move on, we make sure that we have a truck and crew available. If you cancel, we refund the payment. If you wait to book, we can’t guarantee that we will have slots available as we prioritise those on our system.

Am I able to help the guys?

A.

Yes you sure can. In fact we even encourage it. We just have to ensure that we maintain 1.5m social distancing at all times. You can assist the guys by taking the smaller items. The quicker our guys can go in and out, the quicker the job is completed.

Do you have any special offers?

A.

If you bundle your move with additional services such as cleaning, materials and utilities connection we can offer you discounts.

Do you have insurance? What happens if there are any damages?

A.

Yes, we have a range of insurance options available depending on the service type chosen. We have basic cover, as well as full comprehensive.

Do you offer packing services?

A.

Yes we do. We offer a partial packing service and full packing service. The partial pack is good if you will be doing the bulk of the pack yourself and just need assistance with the kitchen items, fragile items, and other breakables. A partial pack includes 1 packer at $45per/hr. You can use your own materials or we can use ours and charge accordingly; $3 for book boxes, $4.50 for tea chest and $30 for 15kg butchers paper. A full pack is the whole house packed top to bottom. For 2 packers, the rate is $90per/hr. We pack the day prior to the move and get everything ready for move day. Again you can use your own materials or we can use ours and charge accordingly.

How are you maintaining a COVIDSafe environment?

A.

As an essential service it is still business as usual, however, we are taking all the relevant precautions. The trucks are cleaned out each and every single day, and all teams have their hygiene kits with them (hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes etc). We carry out ‘contact free moves’ and maintain 1.5m distance at all times, with no contact payment options available.

Do you do assembly/disassembly?

Yes we can offer full assembly and disassembly. The crew have all the tools on hand.

What if I don’t have a date or I am not ready to book?

A.

The way we work, as long as you are happy with the quote and the service described, we just take a deposit of $30 for local moves which is fully refundable and a 10% deposit for interstate moves. The deposit gives you priority booking. If you cancel within the stipulated terms, we refund the deposit in full.
